Twitter is for fiends. Notice how I said fiends and not 'friends.' It's not a place where everyone gets along, respects each others' opinions, and forges friendships. It's a place for quick, uninformed takes and gut reactions. People fiending for a quick hit of information, of humor, of outrage. It's a dark cave full of trolls and goblins and people who are probably robots. But there's also beauty in the dreck. There's hope among the mire.
